Glenwild / Silver Creek

Glenwild is a relatively new private, gated golf course community considered to be one of the best in the state. Its Tom Fazio designed 18 hole course has been rated #1 in the state since opening in 2002 by Golf Digest. It features a clubhouse with restaurant for members and comes with fantastic views of Park City's ski resorts. This community consists of 199 single-family home lots with approximately half of those currently finished or in the process of completion. Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine named Glenwild in the “Top 100 Golf Communities”.  Private memberships are available through the club.

The Silver Creek area is located at the junctions of highways 80 and 40. With views of Park City's ski resorts and convenient access to Park City and Salt Lake City, properties here tend to be on large open lots where many take the advantages of the size of the properties for equestrian purposes. Many of its roads are unpaved, although they are maintained, which makes them ideal for horseback riding. In addition, Pine Meadows, Forest Meadows and Tollgate Canyon are also areas that are considered to be in the Glenwild/Silver Creek area, although they are a bit further out in the mountains, and while relatively close to town, they can sometimes only be accessed seasonally in some areas. For some these areas are exactly what they are looking for to have that summer cabin retreat in the woods, to get away from it all and breathe easy with nature.

The Preserve has 88 large, exclusive home sites carefully placed on 1,700+ acres of south and west facing mountain land at elevations from 6,400 to 7,900 facing Park City, the Unita Mountains and Wasatch areas. Some of  of these lots are horse properties.  This community is perfectly located just north of Kimball Junction, and I say this because of it’s location to Park City, Salt Lake City, the airport, the ski slopes and golf.  This community is for the owner that wants room to roam on their own property, not have that “subdivision” feel, and still be close to it all.

Ranches at the Preserve, has 40 home sites ranging from 10 to 60 acres. The Ranches adjoins the Preserve and Glenwild. All of these lots in the Ranches are horse properties.  This community is exactly like The Preserve, actually in the beginning of development The Ranches at the Preserve and The Preserve were conceived as one community and later divided into two separate communities that adjoin each other.  There are a few differences in the HOA’s of each development of which I would be happy to discuss with you, however both are very fine choices…you simply could not go wrong with either choice.  The Ranches has lots from 10 to 46 acres and all are horse properties, with views of the ski resorts or Unita Mountains.  This location is great for quick access to SLC and airport or Park City and the ski slopes. Some lots have Aspen trees and Scrub Oak while others have lots of sage.
