Alpine Distilling is an award winning distillery in Park City located at 7132 N. Silver Creek Road. Robert Sergent, Owner and Distiller, is a Bourbon Steward, 4th Generation Distiller and one of 8 Of The Best American Single Malt Whiskies in the country with the only single malt whiskey in the world to win GOLD at the International SIP Awards this year. Their Travelers Rest 88 was so popular it has already sold out with maybe a few bottles remaining at various Utah State Liquor Stores. All of the Alpine products are available at their Silver Creek location, at Utah State Liquor Stores and on-line at www.forwhiskeylovers.com

We have known the Sergent family for years and I remember a Christmas not too long ago at our house where Rob told us he was moving on from his VP role with Johnson & Johnson to create delicious hand crafted spirits. Rob's Preserve Liqueur  was awarded Platinum at the International SIP Awards as the Best Liqueur in the World with a portion of every sale going to the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter in Park City. Alpine Distilling has also been awarded and recognized internationally as they were invited by the Department of Agriculture to represent the United States in Hong Kong  last year and wouldn't you know it Alpine's Preserve Liqueur made Top 10 out of 20,000 entries!

Here is the Alpine line-up:

Preserve is a 100% corn spirit that is certified Kosher and 20% alcohol by volume.  The Utah state flower, the Sego Lily, is the bottle shape – look at the bottle from the bottom up.

SIP Awards – Platinum Medal

Wine Luxe – Top Ten; Hong Kong Wine & Spirits Expo

Lafayette Spiced Bourbon Whiskey - A classic Kentucky Bourbon mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% cut to 80 proof, Alpine adds Apricot, Primrose and Cinnamon for the Lafayette spice profile

SIP Awards: Gold-Medal

Persistent Vodka - 100% corn which is 10x distilled, using a Column Still and then a Bain Marie Pot Still, to control time on copper.

SIP Awards – Silver Medal

Traveler’s Rest American Single Malt Whiskey at Barrel Proof has SOLD OUT.  Gold Medal Winning  Traveler’s Rest Single Malt 88 Proof (with a secondary French Oak aging) is only available at Utah State liquor stores.

Spur blended whiskey – a blend of two Gold-medal winners - Alpine's French Oak aged single malt has a wonderful banana, mocha note finish with a vanilla spice; and their Bourbon brings the corn sweetness and American Oak brown flavors with very subtle rye spice.
